Champion

From Corsairs Tales of Pirates.net
Only Carsise can become champion. Champion is more suitable for more experienced players, not for new players.

Champion is one of the six main classes in game Corsairs Tales of Pirates Online. Only Carsise can become champion. The champion deals physical damage with melee attacks. Classic tank. Carries a large two-handed sword. Champion is more suitable for more experienced players, not for new players. Champions are developed in different ways, and the best option for beginners is to find experienced champion players (for example, in guilds) and consult with them.

Pros and cons of champion

Pros:

+ The highest increase in HP and defense among all classes, most skills are focused on increasing survival.

+ In the initial stages, during pk and bossing, he provides indispensable help to his guild, absorbing enemy damage.

+ With the progression of the server and the character itself, it becomes much stronger, acquiring, in addition to huge survivability, also huge damage that is not inferior or even superior to other classes.

Cons:

- At the beginning it is difficult for the Champion to level up and farm alone, he is dependent on the guild, not suitable for solo play.

- Has very weak target control skills.

- In the initial stages, it often plays the role of a "punching bag", and in order to start showing good results in pk, leveling and farm, it requires very large investments in equipment and character.

How to become champion

At level 10, the player needs to complete quest to get the 1st class of Swordsman. The quest is taken from NPC Newbie Guide - Senna in Argent (2224,2786). Upon reaching level 40, you need to complete quest for obtaining the 2nd class, which is taken from the NPC Castle Guard - Peter in Argent (2193,2767). The recommended places for leveling can be found on the page Character leveling. It is more profitable for a champion to level up in a party with AoE damage dealers, for example, with Voyager or Cleric.

What stats and skills to learn and level up

Main stats of champion are constitution and strength. When increasing only constitution, the champion will have very high survivability, but low attack, attack speed and hit rate, which makes solo leveling and farming very difficult, but at the same time the champion will be able to tank for his guild strong monsters, bosses and enemy damage in pk. When increasing only strength, the champion will have a rather low survival rate. Additional stat is agility. An indicator that should be given special attention is attack speed. Attack speed increases along with agility. The maximum damage of "Illusion slash" is achieved at an attack speed value of 210. The player needs to strive to ensure that over time, taking into account equipment, the champion's attack speed passively reaches 210 (without Berserk skill activated and without buffs). If you need to reset extra agi or str points, you can purchase stat reset potions in item mall for IMPs or for gold from NPC Baby in Argent (2202,2776).

Recommended order of skill leveling:

  • Concentration - 2
  • Sword Mastery - 5
  • Illusion Slash - 10
  • Howl - 10
  • Champion of sword - 5
  • Strengthen - 3
  • Blood Bull - 10
  • Primal Rage - 1
  • Concentration - 5
  • Berserk - 10

If you need to reset your skills, you can purchase the Book for Regaining Ability in item mall for IMPs in section "Character".
