Woodcutting process

Woodcutting is one of the life skills, allowing player to get logs and wood strips, which are used as ingredients for crafting and manufacturing, as well as for the repair of the ship.

  • There is NO Legendary Tree of Fortune in the game.

How to learn, level up and use Woodcutting skill

Woodcutting skill level can be increased by clicking on the "+" button if character has free life skill points.

To learn a skill, a character must have at least 1 free life skill point. It is necessary to double-click on book to learn "Woodcutting" skill. Book can be bought for 1000 gold from any NPC Grocery in one of the three main cities, for example, from Grocery - Jimberry in Argent (2232,2729). Player can increase the skill level by pressing combination Alt+S, switching to the second tab and clicking on the "+" button next to the Woodcutting skill. Increasing each new level consumes 1 life skill point.

  • The level of Woodcutting affects what level of trees the character can cut. Also, each new skill level increases the drop rate of logs by +10% of the base drop rate, but does not reduce the time of cutting one tree.
  • The maximum possible level of Woodcutting is 10.
  • Hand pet, premium status and all item drop rate amplifiers DO NOT increase the drop rate of logs while woodcutting.

Woodcutting requires an Axe, which can be purchased for 1000 gold from any NPC Blacksmith in one of the three main cities, for example from Blacksmith - Goldie in Argent (2194,2706). Having equipped axe on the character, player need to go to the tree and click on it with LMB. The character will begin the woodcutting process, which will last 10 seconds, after which the tree will be cut down and disappear. A certain time must pass before the tree grows again.

Gold Axe

Gold Axe doubles the log drop rate and has durability: it breaks after 1000 hits. Gold Axe cannot be repaired. Gold Axe can be bought in item mall (section Other) for IMPs.

How to exchange logs for wood strips

While woodcutting, the character gets logs, while crafting and manufacturing require wood strips. Logs of any tree can be exchanged for wood strips of the same tree at the NPC Wood Processing Merchant in Argent (2261,2716) at the rate: 99 logs = 20 wood strips.
