Seal Master

From Corsairs Tales of Pirates.net
Phyllis and Ami can become Seal masters. New players are not recommended to create the Seal Master as the first character.

Seal Master (SM) is one of the six main classes in game Corsairs Tales of Pirates Online. Phyllis and Ami can become Seal masters. Seal Master deals mostly magic damage from skills at medium range. It can both strengthen, heal and revive allied characters and remove negative effects from them, as well as seal and weaken enemies. Due to its seals, it is indispensable on bosses, highly valued in guilds. Depending on the build and equipment, it can be a support/tank or a support/damager. New players are not recommended to create the Seal Master as the first character.

Pros and cons of Seal Master

Pros:

+ Has some of the best skills for weakening enemies and bosses, due to which it is indispensable on bosses and in pk, even with poor equip.

+ With increased survivability, it can act as a tank frontline initiator

+ One of the most unpopular classes, due to which equipment for a seal masters is usually quite cheap

Cons:

- With not the strongest equipment of the character, you have to sacrifice something: either damage or survivability.

- Dependent on the guild.

How to become Seal Master

At level 10, the player needs to complete the 1st class promotion quest of Herbalist. The quest is taken from NPC Newbie Guide - Senna in Argent (2224,2786). Upon reaching level 40, player need to complete the 2nd class promotion quest, which is taken from the NPC High Priest - Gannon in Shaitan (2194,2731). The recommended places for leveling can be found on the page Character leveling. Seal Master is recommended to level up in a party with other characters.

What stats and skills to learn and level up

Main stats of seal master are constitution and spirit. Depending on the desired role of the character, player can choose different builds:

  • Pure con (support/buffer/sealer build): first of all, Constitution is increased to the maximum, then the Spirit. Such Seal Masters will have great survivability, but low damage.
  • Pure spr: first of all, Spirit is increased to the maximum, then Constitution. Such Seal Master will have high damage, but low survivability. This build requires the player to play very carefully.
  • Hybrid (main character build): Constitution and Spirit increases equally, 1:1. With good equipment, such Seal Master can become versatile, having both survivability and damage. The most "average" build.

If you need to reset stat points, you can purchase stat reset potions in item mall for IMPs or for gold from NPC Baby in Argent (2202,2776).
