Dark Swamp (DS)
Dark swamp (DS) is one of the main pk mazes in Corsairs Tales of Pirates. The DS consists of two floors, on the first of which there is a sea. Inside DS players can fight each other alone or in guilds (as on the water so on land) for a chance to get valuable rewards from main boss, mini bosses, chests, common and special monsters. Possible trophies of DS: chest with sealed lv55 equipment, dusty chests (lv 60), Kal runestones and other runestones, reputation books, cracked gem shards (+3) and chipped gems (+4), sparks, inert dust and inert stone shards, blueprints, items necessary for fairy pets marriage. Among other things, in DS players can chop logs, needed for manufacturing and crafting. It is impossible to enter the DS portal if the character is connected via "off. stall" channel.
How to enter Dark Swamp (DS)
How to get to the portal leading to DS, located in the Magic Ocean (2037,2779):
- Using ship, set sails in Shaitan port, sail to the funnel (877,3756) leading to Treasure Gulf.
- In Treasure Gulf, sail to the funnel (607,1083) leading to Magical ocean.
- After entering funnel, sail to the portal leading to DS (2037, 2779).

DS entrance portal is open for 1 hour. The portal from DS-1 to DS-2 and the whole DS map itself work for 1 hour 55 minutes.

Map of Dark Swamp 1 (DS-1)
Upon entering DS, player appears on the ship in one of two green spots: in the upper right corner or in the upper left corner of the map. It is necessary to sail to one of the two white spots to reach the land. Portal to DS-2 is located at (145,129).

Upon entering DS-2, the player spawns at a white spot in the upper left corner of the map. Two portals leading back to DS-1 are near the spawn point (44,35) and next to the main boss (343,185).
Inhabitants of Dark Swamp (DS)
The main boss, mini bosses, special monster and chests do not respawn, that is, they can only be killed once per maze. Common monsters in DS-1 and DS-2 respawn 1 hour after being killed. The boss can remove debuffs from himself, has AoE attacks, and goes invulnerable for 15 seconds every time he loses another 10% of his HP.
