Cleric is one of the six main classes in game Corsairs Tales of Pirates Online. Phyllis and Ami can become Cleric. Cleric deals mostly magic damage from skills at medium range. It can both strengthen, heal and revive allied characters and remove negative effects from them, as well as deal damage while having good survivability. Can be support or support/damage dealer. One of the best classes for new players.
Pros and cons of Cleric
Pros:
+ From the very start, good at leveling and farming (due to AoE damage to monsters), in pk and when killing bosses, even without strong equipment.
+ By increasing only one stat (spirit), Cleric increases both damage and survivability (with the "Energy Shield" skill turned on, the damage reduces not HP, but SP), and the power of healing allies.
+ It is the best buffer, especially for classes with physical damage.
Cons:
- Although survivable at the expense of mana, it still requires increased defense and physical resistance.
- When sealed by an enemy sharpshooter or seal master, it becomes completely useless for a while due to the inability to use skills.
How to become Cleric
At level 10, the player needs to complete the 1st class promotion quest of Herbalist. The quest is taken from NPCNewbie Guide - Senna in Argent (2224,2786). Upon reaching level 40, player need to complete the 2nd class promotion quest, which is taken from the NPC High Priest - Gannon in Shaitan (2194,2731). The recommended places for leveling can be found on the page Character leveling.
