Gems combining

Gems combining allows player to create one gem of the next, higher level from two gems of the same low level.

What you need to combine gems

To combine gems in Corsairs Tales of Pirates it is needed:

Two identical gems of the same level
Gem Composition Scroll
50 000 gold

Where to get Gem Composition Scroll

Gem Composition Scroll can be bought for 10 000 gold from one of the two NPCs in Shaitan:

Blacksmith - Smithy in Shaitan (903,3496). The scroll is sold in the "C" tab, which you need to switch to.
Grocery - Amos in Shaitan (841,3586).

How to combine gems

You need to talk with any of the two NPCs and choose "Combine" point:

Blacksmith - Smithy in Shaitan (903,3496)
Grocery - Amos in Shaitan (841,3586)

Place the scroll first, then the gems, and press "Confirm".

How many gems will it take to create

Creatable Gem	Requires lv 1 gems
Lv 2	2 gems
Lv 3	4 gems
Lv 4	8 gems
Lv 5	16 gems

Success and failure rates

When combining any two lv 1 gems to create lv 2 gem, the success rate is always 100%. In the case of creating lv 3 and above gems, there is a chance of failure. On a failure, the player loses two gems. There are no fruits in the game that increase the rates of a successful combination. Different gems have different combining success rates, check page Gems.
